Our friends at Stitch Media have been nominated for Best VR/AR Game with their adorably violent (and also fully Tilt Five-enabled) game, Terrorarium!
The award will be presented at The Canadian Game Award Show, which takes place April 21st in Toronto. The VR/AR award recognizes the accomplishment of usability, playability, and immersive experiences of virtual or augmented reality on any platform.
Terrorarium is a quirky, yet charming indie game developed by Stitch Media that combines elements of puzzle-solving, strategy, and creativity. Players take on the role of a space granny who has to navigate through various levels filled with deadly obstacles and creatures, all while trying to nurture her garden of cute but deadly creatures known as "Moogu."
A very unique aspect of Terrorarium is the level editor, which lets players create and share their own levels with the community. This feature not only adds to the game's replayability but also encourages players to get creative and come up with their own challenges and puzzles.
The game's graphics are colorful and whimsical, with a cartoonish art style that perfectly captures the game's offbeat tone. The sound design is also noteworthy, featuring a delightful soundtrack that perfectly complements the game's cute and quirky aesthetic.
While Terrorarium may seem lighthearted at first glance, the game's challenging puzzles and increasingly difficult levels will keep players engaged and on their toes. Additionally, the game's unique blend of strategy and creativity makes it a standout in the puzzle-platformer genre.
